The paper is interesting, well written and well organized.

However, I find several shortcomings.

The paper is essentially a theoretical and numerical development of plasmon-assistsed resosnance energy transfer, but some results do not make sense as they are difficult to verify experimentally, I am referring to the configuration of figure 3b. This is an overly complicated experimental setup and it is not clear why the authors had to use this configuration with specific dimensions to test their results. I challenge any experimental group to reproduce a plasmonic configuration of that type.

In addition:

why do the authors use the 3 MCP? and not other molecules? for example simpler or a quantum dot to test their theory?

and what can they say about the effects of temperature?

What about the quantum decohrence in energy transfer?

In turn, minor changes: some reference should be included for example, pag 5 line 178, page 9, line 239.

Jin et al. semi-analytically studied plasmon-assisted resonance energy transfer between chiral donor and acceptor involving electric and magnetic coupling using macroscopic quantum electrodynamics-based quantum theory. Taking an example of systems of 3-methylcyclopentanone chiral molecules near the achiral/chiral plasmonic nanostructures, the authors investigated the nondiscriminatory and discriminatory rates of resonance energy transfer affected by the presence of plasmonic nanostructures. The authors reported that the plasmon supported by chiral nanostructure contributes more to the discriminatory rate. The research work has been done thoroughly, and the manuscript is well-written. I have one concern. Does the cylindrical nanorod the authors used have semi-spherical caps at the end, or does it have no caps such that it has a circular cross-section? Based on the diagram, it appears as if it is with caps. However, a description needs to be included in the text. How does the geometry of these caps affect? In addition to that, there are a few typographical errors [see attached]. Please fix these errors.
