Reviewer 2 Report
Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsThe authors reviewed the various effects of probiotics on antimicrobial activity and immunity, as well as discusses their potential for developing non-dairy functional foods. With the growing interests in this research field, this review is timely important by guiding future knowledge applications in practices. I have some minor comments below;
1) Title: The title should be revised to narrow down its scope. The term "mechanism" is too broad.
2) Keywords: Please use MeSH keywords.
3) Figure 1. It should be CFU.
4) The resolution of the image should be increased to make it clearer.
5) Table 4. The table appears to be misaligned. Please correct it.
6) It is recommended to update the references to evaluate the latest research advances in this field.
