New Advances in Functionalization of Metal Materials

The Special Issue “New Advances in Functionalization of Metal Materials” is open for submission. We would like to invite you to submit your excellent work on this Issue.

In particular, the topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Most recent progress in novel coatings and additive manufacturing of metal materials with improvement of mechanical, biological and/or electrochemical properties is particularly encouraged to submit for consideration of publication.
• New applications of coatings and additive manufacturing of metal materials in biomedical, environmental and industrial applications. Multidisciplinary research relating to the functional applications of coatings and additive manufacturing of metal materials is one of the core values of the Special Issue.
• New findings in processing-structure-property-function relationships of coatings and additive manufacturing of metal materials. A new fundamental understanding of processing of coatings and additive manufacturing is of special interest for this Special Issue.
